Challenger

The Challenger 1 was the main battle tank of the British army from 1983 until the mid 1990s and saw combat service during the Gulf War. 180 Challenger 1 tanks were deployed in Saudi Arabiaduring Operation Granby, and they were responsible for 300 kills of Iraqi armoured vehicles, while suffering no losses themselves. These kills included the longest range tank kill in histroy, at a range of 2.5 miles (4 kilometres).
