Boeing CH-47 Chinook


The Boeing CH-47 Chinook is a twin-engine tandem-rotor helicopter that has been exported around the world, and including to the British Royal Air Force (RAF).

Boeing CH-47 Chinook

A total of 17 RAF Chinooks served during Operation Granby. The most noteable of these is serial ZA718 (more commonly known "Bravo November" after its original squadron code). This helicopter has served in every RAF operation of the last 25 years including Lebanon, Germany, Northern Ireland, Iraq and the Falklands War.
